Many people don’t understand what depression is. The project is trying to raise public awareness of the issue. The hallway is selected because depression is part of our lives.
The use of large type communicates the common stigmas around depression. On the contrary, the smaller type that is contained inside the squares is the voices of people who have depression. This project seeks to engage the public in conversation about the stigmas around depression.
